After our team weight lifting session at 745am my only class of the day was cancelled so I went back to bed for a little while.  At 1:30pm the guards were scheduled for a 4man workout but only two of us were able to make it because the other two have flu-like symptoms.  Brandon Davis and I got some really good work in and fed off each other's energy.

While working out today, I got to thinking------imagining playing against the guys who are all "supposedly" better than me.  I'm talking about the guys in the mock drafts, on tv, in the NBA, etc.  It helps me improve my focus when I can reinvent my game situations against these guys.  I'll reference my workouts with Sebastian Telfair this summer for example----- Sebastian is extremely quick, strong, highly intelligent, and his shot has improved from last season.  Bassy is a true leader at heart.  In our matchups throughout the summer we had battles and often times had people crowd around the side of the court for two reasons:  1) because Sebastian Telfair was playing  2) because we had a great matchup --- people often wondered who I was because I am almost always underestimated due to my physical appearance, until they see what I have to offer, and then they get excited about my style.  There is no college point guard in America that is better than Sebastian at this time, however, Sebastian has been in the NBA for 4 years now and is very seasoned.  The top rated point guards this year include guys like Ty Lawson and Sean Singletary--- both who I matched up with last year.  Very good players, but if you focus on the NBA strictly, what is it that they can provide in that setting that I cannot? I can't think of anything, because I know what I am capable of at the highest level.  These are the things that I think about when I am comparing myself to the "best" and looking toward pre-draft workouts--- I am aware that they are an entire season away, but you can never be overly prepared mentally.  I am confident that when given the chance I can blow the right people's minds with my abilities.  Until then, I will be helping my team win games any way I can.

-- 1 more class, 1 more workout, and I am headed home to ATL to hang out with my mom for a couple hours and catch my flight (Sat early am) to Florida.

You play at UNCA! Lawson plays for UNC and you think you can play with him? And you act like you are some great point guard when i personally have seen you get worked by D2 NAIA schools so you should probably not get too cocky there bryan. And why did you write your BIO in the third person you dueche. C'mon everyone knows that you could never play at UNC or Duke or even Warren Wilson(where you would fit in)

We love comments on here, as for UNC? Bry never got that offer but its funy that you bring up the acc b/c you might feel stupid to know that he had 2 ACC offers and was a pen sign away from going to Clemson and GA Tech, dumbass If you that impressed with Lawson that explains why your probably playing D2 basketball as well. Again, go work on your game or whatever you do bc if all you do is read Bryan's blog and go to his games against d2 schools you've gotta be a loser and bum, or in fact you are a true fan of Bryan to go to UNCA to watch him play a D2 school. NOT WANTED holla

Ok I just have to say one thing. If he was a pen sign away from Clemson and GA Tech than why didnt he go. And you must be some penus licking dueche to try and have his back there boom. Oh and you dont think Lawson is good? Ok than why arent you playing for UNC oh wait you are probably some little town highschool basketball star thinking you know the game. So let me guess you are what the third best player in intramurals. So go back under Smithsons desk while he writes his gay blog.

No see that is what U don't understand "anonymous" is that sometimes peeps have options and they make the decision they feel is best for them. U wouldn't know because u never had any offers or options for yourself !Why wouldn't I have his back on this? your statments are way off and need to be commented on. penus licking dueche?? Yea u are cool ! When u have something to say about basketball come back until then ur weak comments are not wanted. Nobody said that Lawson was not good, bc he is very good and I respect his game to the upmost and so does B. Im not playing basketball at unc bc I play football and would never play at a small time school and read other guys blogs to bash them with off the wall bullshit. By the way Mars Hill was an exhibition game and was Bryan's first game back after missing an entire year and a half due to ncaa rules and he wasn't even practicing during the year bc he was injured.... DUMBASS maybe you should do a little more research before making such a shitty comment about somebody.
