Siroki Eronet and Zrinjski Mostar advanced to the semifinals of Bosnian National Cup.
Siroki was better than the top-ranked team in D1, Igokea Aleksandrovac, 78-72. Bryan Smithson (183-G-85, college: NC-Asheville)
top-scored for the winners with 17 points. Ivan Siriscevic (198-G/F-87) also shined collecting 15 points and 6 rebounds. Ivo
Josipovic (205-F-75, agency: Court Side) followed him adding 13 points and 10 boards. On the other side, Marko Djerasimovic
(200-F/G-84) delivered 19 pts. Kenny Taylor (192-G-82, college: Texas) had 16 and Dimitrije Matic (204-F/C-78) 11 points, plus 11
rebounds. As a reminder Siroki played this game without Sime Spralja and Petar Dujmovic. Igokea struggled a lot from the FT line
missing 11 times.
Zrinjski outplayed Borac Nektar on the road 79-69. Mate Perajica (203-C-81) led the guests with 22 points. Josip Sesar (197-G/F-78,
agency: Court Side), who recovered from injury, posted 2 less. New acquisition Tomislav Tomovic (195-G-83, agency: Beo Basket)
helped with 15 pts. Borac got the most from Nikola Durasovic (199-F-83), 15 pts. Hrvoje Puljko (193-G-83, agency: Interperformances)
stopped on 11.
The other two semifinalists will be known at the end of the current month and at the beginning of January. Sloboda Dita will meet
Leotar, while Slavija will take on the reigning champion Bosna ASA BHT.

old American guard Bryan
Smithson (183-G-85, college:
NC-Asheville).
Smithson played most recently at
University of North Carolina -
Asheville (NCAA) in the U.S. It will
be his first year in professional
basketball. Last year while still
playing in the college he appeared
in 29 games averaging 16.4ppg,
4.0 rpg and 4.1apg.
He was selected to both Big South
Conf. All-Tournament Team and
